Rants

Pollution is NOT ENTIRELY your fault.

We often mistake ourselves, daily ordinary human beings who live a moderate lifestyle, as the cause of pollution in the air, water and in general. But in reality, it is the big corporations making the huge mistakes in saving our Earth.

So, back in the 1900s, or something like that, soda/pop companies used to sell their soda/pop in reusable glass bottles. You buy it, drink it, then it gets returned to the company to clean and refill. It worked quite well, if you asked me.

But then someone got the idea of using cans and plastic bottles instead of the brilliant glass bottle plan. So thus came all of the land pollution. Cans and bottles can be found on the grass of local park benches along with other trash. Though the problem is not as common as it used to be, it is still an unsolved problem.

But the thing that bothers me the most is the fact that the soda/pop companies blamed the whole thing on us. Sure it is partly our fault, but if they had never released the cans or bottles, then we wouldn’t be in this mess.

I remember a video I watched on this a short while ago. It was actually an advertisement created by the soda/pop companies. It had a Native American with a tear rolling down his cheek because he had a bunch of trash on his land.

FIRST OF ALL, the native American wasn’t even native American. He was an Italian actor.

SECONDLY, it was made by the soda/pop companies. If they really wanted to stop land pollution, they would stop making cans and plastic bottles (which use oil btw).

But I guess the world is just like this. Some are greedy corporations that only care about making money, but others are kind and friendly. Some actually care.

Do you care?
